Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
Switched to this hardened steel nozzle assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber filled PLA. The integrated throat design eliminates the gap where clogs used to form. Print quality is exceptional and installation was straightforward.

No more clogs!
I was experiencing frequent clogs with my previous setup when printing high-temperature materials. This TZ4.0 assembly solved the problem completely. The metal throat conducts heat much better.

Good product, shipping delay
The hotend itself works great and fits my P1P perfectly. However, the shipping took longer than expected. Once installed, though, the prints are crisp and consistent.

Great performance, slightly tight fit
The print quality improved immediately after swapping out my stock hotend. The only minor issue was that the assembly felt a bit tight going into the heater block, but once seated, it works flawlessly.

A: No, this TZ4.0 assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. It is not compatible with the A1 or A1 mini models.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA without changing settings?
A: Yes, you can use standard PLA. However, because this is a hardened steel nozzle, you may need to slightly adjust your flow rate or temperature compensation in your slicer profile for optimal results.
Q: What is the difference between TZ4.0 and the stock hotend?
A: The TZ4.0 features an integrated metal throat which reduces the risk of clogging at the junction between the throat and nozzle. It also uses a hardened steel nozzle by default, making it suitable for abrasive filaments.
