Great upgrade, slightly longer heat up
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I noticed it takes about 10 seconds longer to reach target temperature compared to the stock hotend, but the durability is worth it.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. It handles the abrasion perfectly without wearing down like brass nozzles. The installation on my X1C was straightforward.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: While much more durable than brass, we suggest inspecting the nozzle every 500-1000 hours of printing with abrasive materials and replacing it if layer adhesion or dimensional accuracy declines.
Q: What is the difference between version 2.0 and 3.0?
A: Version 3.0 features an improved thermal break design and enhanced sealing to prevent oozing during high-temperature prints compared to the previous generation.
Q: Can I use this with 1.75mm TPU filament?
A: Yes, the hardened steel hotend is compatible with flexible filaments like TPU, provided you use appropriate print settings for flexibility.
Q: Does this come with a nozzle wrench?
A: The package includes the hotend assembly and a silicone sock. We recommend using the standard tool kit that came with your printer for nozzle changes.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this specific hotend assembly is designed exclusively for the X1C, P1P, and P1S models. The A1 series uses a different extruder architecture.
