Perfect for automation projects
These bearings are incredibly smooth and require no grease. I used them on a linear actuator and the motion is silent.

Break-in required
Work well now but were a bit noisy for the first few hours of operation. Seems normal for plastic bearings.

Good quality but tight fit
Quality is excellent as expected from igus. The fit on the shaft was slightly tight initially but loosened after break-in.

No grease needed
Love that these are maintenance-free. Great for clean room environments where lubrication is a concern.
Q: What is the expected lifespan under continuous use?
A: Lifespan varies by load and speed, but iglidur® materials typically offer long service life compared to metal bearings in dry conditions.
Q: What size screws are needed for the square flange?
A: Standard M3 or M4 screws are typically used through the provided mounting holes depending on the shaft size.
Q: Can these be used in outdoor environments?
A: Yes, the plastic material is corrosion-resistant and weather-proof suitable for outdoor use.
Q: Are these compatible with stainless steel shafts?
A: Yes, these bearings are compatible with hard anodized aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon fiber shafts.
