Solid Professional Choice
Very responsive and loud. It takes a little breaking in to reach its full potential, but after a week of practice, the sound has opened up beautifully.
Q: What is the difference between the 416 and 420 models?
A: The primary difference lies in the slight variation in diameter and thickness of the brass ring, which affects the pitch. The 416 offers a slightly higher pitch, while the 420 provides a deeper, more resonant tone. Both are excellent for professional use.
Q: Can I replace the brass ring if it gets damaged?
A: The brass ring is permanently fitted during the crafting process to ensure optimal acoustic coupling. It is not designed to be user-replaceable. Please contact us directly if you experience any manufacturing defects.
Q: Is the wood treated to prevent cracking in dry climates?
A: Yes, the rosewood undergoes a specialized drying and sealing process to ensure stability in various humidity levels. However, we still recommend storing it in its case when not in use to prolong its lifespan.
Q: Does this come with a stand or just the drum and sticks?
A: This package includes the Jing board drum and a pair of professional hardwood drumsticks. A stand is not included, but the drum is designed to be held by hand or placed on a standard universal percussion stand.
