Good for learning
My daughter is using this for her music class. It produces a nice sound without requiring too much breath pressure, which is perfect for a beginner. Shipping was fast and packaging was secure.

Exceeded expectations for the price

Great tone, minor cosmetic mark
The flute plays beautifully and stays in tune well. There is a small scratch near the bottom hole as described, but it doesn't impact performance at all. The case is sturdy and protects it well during travel.

Highly recommended for novices
I've tried other cheap flutes that sounded tinny, but this one has a rich, mellow tone. The tutorial link was a lifesaver for figuring out finger placement. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect starter flute with great value
