Superb gift for a musician

Worth every penny
I upgraded from a student model, and the difference is night and day. The response is immediate, and the lower register is surprisingly warm for a G key flute. Highly recommended for serious students and pros.

Great instrument, requires careful membrane setup
The flute itself is top-tier quality with excellent intonation across all octaves. I gave it 4 stars only because applying the reed membrane took a few tries to get the perfect buzz, but that is standard for high-quality dizis.

Exceptional tone for professional use
As a semi-professional player, I am impressed by the clarity and projection of this G key flute. The 5-year aged bamboo provides a stability I haven't found in younger instruments. Master Huang's craftsmanship is evident in every detail.

Beautiful ancient aesthetic

Authentic Zhuyun quality
This is my third flute from the Zhuyun line, and this graded version by Huang Weidong is the best yet. The balance is perfect, and it holds its tune well even after long practice sessions.
