Good value but tight fit

The build quality is excellent for the price. Just note that the fit is very tight on standard beams, so you definitely need a torque wrench to install them properly. Once installed, they feel very safe.

Durable and reliable

Used these outdoors for a solar panel racking system. After three months of rain and sun, there is zero sign of rust. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included nuts were a bit hard to thread initially.

Q: What is the maximum beam flange width this clamp can accommodate?

A: This specific model is designed for beam flange widths ranging from 40mm to 80mm. Please check the detailed dimension chart in the product manual before ordering for non-standard beams.

Q: Can this be used on aluminum channels or only steel?

A: While it can physically clamp onto aluminum channels, the teeth are hardened for steel and may damage softer aluminum surfaces. We recommend using a rubber pad interface if mounting on aluminum to prevent material deformation.

Q: What torque specification should be used for tightening?

A: For the standard M12 bolt configuration, we recommend a tightening torque of 45-50 Nm. For M16, please refer to 80-85 Nm. Always ensure the teeth have fully engaged the beam flange before final torquing.

Q: Is the galvanization suitable for outdoor coastal environments?

A: Yes, the hot-dip galvanized coating provides excellent corrosion resistance for general outdoor use. However, for highly corrosive coastal environments with direct salt spray exposure, we recommend applying an additional protective sealant.

Q: Does this come with the bolt and nut required for installation?
