Excellent signal reduction for home office
I installed this fabric behind the drywall in my home office to reduce interference from a nearby cell tower. The difference in static on my audio equipment is night and day. Easy to work with during renovation.

Solid product for peace of mind
Bought this to create a canopy over a sleeping area. While I can't scientifically measure the health benefits, my RF detector shows near-zero readings inside the covered area. Fabric feels durable.

Good quality but requires careful handling
The material is very effective at blocking signals, verified with an RF meter. However, it can be a bit stiff compared to normal cloth, so sewing curtains requires a heavy-duty needle. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Perfect for server room shielding

Works well but pricey
The shielding capability is undeniable, but the cost per square foot adds up quickly for large rooms. It does exactly what it says, just wish it was more affordable for residential projects.
Q: What is the return policy if the shielding isn't strong enough for my needs?
A: We offer a 30-day return policy for unused rolls in original packaging. Since shielding effectiveness depends on installation method and grounding, we suggest ordering a sample swatch first to test with your specific equipment.
Q: Can I sew this fabric using a standard home sewing machine?
A: Yes, but we recommend using a heavy-duty needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) and a polyester or metallic thread. Because the fabric contains metal fibers, it is slightly abrasive, so clean your machine after extensive use.
Q: How do I join two pieces of fabric together without losing shielding continuity?
A: To maintain shielding continuity between panels, overlap the edges by at least 2 inches and use conductive tape or sew them together with conductive thread. Ensure the joint is also connected to your grounding point.
Q: Is this fabric safe to touch directly against skin?
A: The fabric is generally safe for handling, but it is designed for industrial and construction applications like wall lining or equipment covers. We do not recommend prolonged direct skin contact as the metal fibers may cause irritation for sensitive individuals.
Q: Does this fabric need to be grounded to work effectively?
A: For optimal EMI/RF shielding performance, especially against low-frequency electric fields, we strongly recommend grounding the fabric. For high-frequency magnetic fields, it provides attenuation even without grounding, but grounding ensures maximum effectiveness.
