Great start for my orchard
Bought three of these for my backyard. They seem very hardy. One had a slightly bent stem upon arrival, but it straightened out after staking. Looking forward to seeing berries next year.

Arrived healthy and vibrant!

Good plant, slow shipping
The blueberry tree itself is fine and seems healthy now, but the shipping took longer than expected. Make sure you are home to receive it so it doesn't sit in the sun too long.

Excellent quality sapling
This O'Neal variety is known for low chill hours, which is perfect for my climate. The root system was well-developed when I repotted it. Highly recommend for anyone in zone 8.
Q: Do I need to plant two of these to get fruit?
A: While the O'Neal variety is partially self-fertile, planting a second compatible Rabbiteye blueberry bush nearby will significantly increase your fruit yield and size.
Q: What type of fertilizer should I use?
A: Blueberries require acidic soil. We recommend using a fertilizer specifically formulated for acid-loving plants like azaleas, camellias, and rhododendrons. Avoid standard garden fertilizers.
Q: Can I keep this in the pot permanently or must I plant it in the ground?
A: You can keep it in a container permanently if you use a pot at least 18 inches in diameter and monitor watering closely. However, planting in the ground usually results in larger plants and higher yields.
