Perfect starter guitar for my daughter
I bought this for my teenage daughter who is just starting to learn. The sound is surprisingly rich for the price point, and the included gig bag makes it easy to take to lessons. The pickup works great when she plugs into our home amp.

Best gift for a music lover
Bought this as a birthday gift for my nephew. He absolutely loves it. The package came with everything needed to start playing immediately. The sound is warm and the electronics are easy to use.

Good projection and volume
Even without plugging in, this guitar has decent volume and projection. The 41-inch body size provides a full sound. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the strap buttons were a bit loose upon arrival, but easy to tighten.

Looks and sounds amazing
The natural finish looks stunning in person. I use this for recording demos in my home studio, and the Turtleback pickup captures the acoustic tone very cleanly without much noise. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid build quality
I was skeptical about the price, but the construction is sturdy. The tuning stability is good after the strings stretch out. It's not a high-end luthier instrument, but it exceeds expectations for an entry-level acoustic-electric.

Great value, minor setup needed
Overall a solid instrument. The spruce top gives it a bright tone. I did have to lower the action slightly at the bridge to make it easier to play, but once adjusted, it plays beautifully. Highly recommend for beginners on a budget.
Q: Is the gig bag padded for travel protection?
A: Yes, the included gig bag features soft padding to protect the guitar from minor bumps and scratches during transport to lessons or gigs. For air travel, we recommend a hard case.
Q: What type of battery does the built-in tuner require?
A: The Turtleback pickup system typically uses a standard 9V battery, which is usually included with the guitar. You can access the battery compartment on the side of the preamp.
Q: Does this guitar come with a cable to connect to an amplifier?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard instrument cable so you can connect the guitar to an amp or audio interface right out of the box.
Q: Is the neck suitable for smaller hands or children?
A: The nut width is 1.69 inches, which is a standard size. While it is designed for adults and teens, younger players with smaller hands may find it manageable, though we recommend trying it in person if possible.
Q: Can I change the strings to nylon strings?
A: No, this guitar is designed specifically for steel strings. Using nylon strings will not provide enough tension for the bridge and neck, and the ball-ends required for the bridge pins will not fit nylon classical strings.
