Excellent travel companion
While not a compact travel guitar per se, the reduced body depth makes it much easier to pack than a standard acoustic. It holds its tune well even after being in the car trunk for a weekend camping trip.

Great tone, minor setup needed
The rosewood back and sides provide a warm, rich tone that rivals guitars twice the price. It arrived with slightly high action, but after a quick professional setup, it plays like a dream. Highly recommended for fingerstyle.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The open pore finish feels fantastic under the hand and looks very elegant. The electronics are simple but effective for live performances. I love the balanced sound between the bass and treble strings.

Perfect size for smaller players
I have smaller hands and always struggled with dreadnoughts. This alto body is incredibly comfortable to hold and play. The solid spruce top gives it a surprisingly loud and clear projection despite the smaller size.

My new daily driver
I bought this to replace my old laminate guitar, and the difference in resonance is night and day. The neck profile is very smooth, making chord transitions effortless. Ibanez really nailed it with this model.

Solid wood at a great price
Finding a guitar with both a solid spruce top and solid rosewood back/sides at this price point is rare. The sustain is impressive. I deducted one star only because the included gig bag is quite thin.
