Great value, minor setup needed
Excellent guitar overall. The action was a little high out of the box, but after a quick professional setup, it plays like a dream. The projection is impressive for a dreadnought body.

Best in its class
I tried several guitars in this price range before settling on the FG830. Nothing else came close to the clarity and balance of the notes. The System66 preamp makes performing live very easy.

Beautiful sound and build quality
The rosewood back and sides provide a warm depth to the sound that I wasn't expecting at this price point. The electronics work flawlessly when plugged into my amp. Very happy with this purchase from the official store.

Stunning aesthetics and tone

Solid choice for intermediate players
My daughter has been playing for two years and this guitar has inspired her to practice more. The tone is mature and full. Only giving 4 stars because the case is sold separately, which was an extra expense.

Perfect first serious guitar
I upgraded from a cheap laminate guitar to this FG830 and the difference is night and day. The solid spruce top gives it a rich, resonant tone that gets better every time I play. Highly recommended for students ready to step up.
