Perfect upgrade from my student model
As a semi-professional player, I needed something better than my old practice yangqin. This 402 model offers excellent resonance and sustain. The action on the strings is responsive, making fast passages much easier to execute.

Great craftsmanship, needs initial tuning
The build quality is impressive with smooth edges and sturdy bridges. It arrived slightly out of tune due to shipping, which is expected, but once tuned by a professional, it sings beautifully. The pearwood components look elegant.

Exceeded expectations

Beautiful aesthetic and sound

Exceptional tone for the price
I purchased this Minyin 402 for my daughter who is starting her music studies. The rosewood finish is stunning, and the sound projection is surprisingly clear for a beginner-to-intermediate instrument. The chicken wing wood soundboard really adds warmth to the higher notes.

Solid choice for ensemble playing
We bought two of these for our university folk music club. They blend well together and hold their tune reasonably well during long rehearsal sessions. The case provided is sturdy enough for local transport.
