Perfect for my exhibition piece

Good thickness
The paper has a nice weight to it, suitable for both wet and dry brush techniques. I deducted one star only because the wooden rollers were slightly lighter than I expected, but they function perfectly.

Great value for clearance
I was skeptical about buying clearance art supplies, but this scroll exceeded my expectations. The silk brocade is elegant, though one corner had a very minor crease that steamed out easily.
Q: What are the exact dimensions of the visible writing area?
A: The total scroll size is 138cm x 69cm. The inner blank paper area for your artwork is approximately 100cm x 55cm, surrounded by the silk brocade mounting.
Q: Does the package include hanging hardware?
A: The scroll comes with a traditional cord loop at the top for hanging on a standard hook or nail. Specific wall hooks or nails are not included in the package.
Q: How should I store this if I don't use it immediately?
A: Please keep the scroll rolled loosely in its original protective tube, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to prevent mold or discoloration.
Q: Is this paper suitable for heavy water wash techniques in painting?
A: Yes, this is half-sized raw Xuan paper, which offers a good balance. It can handle moderate water washes, but for extremely heavy saturation, fully raw Xuan might be preferred. However, for most traditional styles, this works perfectly.
Q: Can I frame this scroll under glass instead of hanging it?
A: Absolutely. Many customers choose to remove the rollers and frame the mounted paper under glass for long-term preservation and a modern look. The silk borders frame the artwork nicely.
