Soothing scent and great texture
The green sandalwood has a very earthy, grounding aroma. Holding this while thinking or reading is quite relaxing. The Pixiu symbol is traditionally associated with wealth, which is a nice bonus.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful grain
The detail on the Pixiu is incredible. You can see every scale and the expression on its face. The green sandalwood has a subtle, pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. It feels very smooth in the hand.

Great gift for collectors

Lovely piece, slightly smaller than expected
This is a beautiful carving with great cultural significance. The gourd base is very stable. I deducted one star only because it looked a bit larger in the photos, but the quality makes up for the size.

Nice natural variation
Since this is natural wood, the color varies slightly from the picture, which I actually prefer. It gives it a unique character. The polishing job is excellent, no rough edges at all.
