Great variety of textures
I appreciate the range of stiffness in this set. The brass wire brush is excellent for cleaning deep crevices in my gourd carvings, while the felt disks are perfect for the final polish. One disk was slightly loose, but easily fixed.

Gentle on antiques

Good value for money
Solid set for the price. The bristles haven't shed after several weeks of use on my walnut projects. I wish it came with one more medium-stiffness brush, but overall very satisfied.

Perfect for my Bodhi collection
These brushes are incredibly gentle yet effective. I used the soft bristle brush on my antique Bodhi beads, and it brought out a beautiful shine without scratching the surface. The walnut handle feels premium in the hand.
Q: Can the brass wire brush be used on soft wood surfaces?
A: We recommend using the brass wire brush only on hard surfaces like dried gourds or metal artifacts. For soft woods, please use the boar bristle brushes to avoid indentation.
Q: What is the best brush for cleaning dust from Vajra grooves?
A: The fine-tipped cleaning pick and the smallest soft bristle brush in the set are specifically designed for reaching into the intricate grooves of Vajra artifacts.
Q: Is the wooden box included suitable for long-term storage?
A: Yes, the included wooden display box is treated to resist moisture and pests, making it ideal for long-term storage of your tools and small artifacts.
Q: Do I need to oil the walnut handles?
A: The handles come pre-oiled. For maintenance, you may apply a light coat of linseed oil once a year if the wood appears dry, but it is not required for normal use.
Q: Are the polishing disks replaceable if they wear out?
A: Currently, the disks are attached permanently to their backing for stability. However, we sell refill packs of standalone felt disks that can be adhered to the backing if needed.
