Good performance, needs careful wiring
The WiFi range is impressive for such a small board. Just make sure you provide enough current to the VCC pin, or it might reset unexpectedly.

Great little switch
Works as advertised. The only downside is the pin spacing which requires a breakout board for easy breadboarding, but that's standard for this form factor.

Perfect for Home Automation Projects

Q: What is the maximum wattage this relay can handle?
A: The relay is rated for 10A. At 110V, this equals approximately 1100W, and at 220V, it equals 2200W. Please do not exceed these limits for safety.
Q: Can this module be powered directly via USB?
A: No, the ESP8266-01S operates at 3.3V. You will need a voltage regulator or a dedicated USB-to-TTL adapter that supports 3.3V output to power it safely.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: The module itself is not weatherproof. If you plan to use it outdoors, you must enclose it in an IP65-rated waterproof case.
Q: Does it come with pre-installed firmware?
A: It usually comes with basic AT command firmware. For specific smart home applications, we recommend flashing your own preferred firmware.
Q: Is this compatible with Alexa or Google Home?
A: Yes, but not out of the box. You need to flash custom firmware like Tasmota or ESPHome to integrate it with voice assistants via your local network.
