Best purchase for my art class
My teacher recommended water brushes, and this Oboshang set is fantastic. The variety of tips allows me to try different techniques without buying separate brushes. Very happy with this kit.

Excellent flow control
I was worried about the water releasing too fast, but you can control the flow just by squeezing the barrel gently. Works perfectly with solid watercolor cakes. Highly recommend for students.

No more messy water cups!
Finally, a solution for painting outdoors without carrying a heavy cup of water. These pens hold enough water for a full sketch session. The bristles spring back nicely after washing.

Perfect for my watercolor journaling

Great value for beginners
As someone new to gouache, these brushes made the learning curve much easier. The liner brush is surprisingly precise. Only giving 4 stars because the case feels a bit flimsy, but the brushes themselves are top-notch.

Good quality, fast shipping
The brushes arrived quickly and were well-packaged. They work great with my existing paint set. The medium tip is my favorite for general coloring. Would buy again.

A: The included case is water-resistant and protects against splashes, but it is not fully submersible. It is designed to keep your brushes organized and safe in a bag.
Q: Can these brushes be used with acrylic paint?
A: These brushes are specifically designed for water-soluble media like watercolor, gouache, and solid cake paints. While you can use diluted acrylics, dried acrylic may damage the nylon bristles if not cleaned immediately.
Q: How do I refill the water reservoir?
A: Simply unscrew the brush head from the barrel, fill the barrel with clean water up to the indicated line, and screw the head back on tightly. Squeeze gently to prime the bristles.
Q: Do I need to buy a separate water container?
A: No, that is the main benefit of this set! The brush barrels act as your water container, allowing you to paint anywhere without needing an external cup or jar of water.
Q: What is the difference between the liner and the other brushes?
A: The liner brush has a very fine, pointed tip designed for drawing thin lines, signatures, and intricate details, whereas the other brushes have broader tips for filling areas and blending.
