Incredible resonance and build quality
This war drum exceeded my expectations. The camphor wood smells amazing upon unboxing, and the cowhide produces a deep, thunderous sound that fills our meditation hall. The craftsmanship is evident in every detail.

Great sound, heavy weight
The audio quality is fantastic, very rich and warm. Just be aware that it is quite heavy due to the solid wood construction, so it's not ideal for traveling long distances on foot.
Q: Does this drum come with a carrying case or stand?
A: The drum is sold as a standalone instrument. We do not include a carrying case or stand, but we offer compatible wooden stands separately in our accessories section.
Q: What type of mallets work best with this drum?
A: For the deepest bass sound, we recommend large, soft-headed mallets with wool or felt covers. Harder mallets will produce a sharper attack but may reduce the sustain characteristic of this drum.
Q: How sensitive is the cowhide to changes in humidity?
A: Like all natural rawhide instruments, it can be affected by extreme humidity or dryness. We recommend keeping it in a climate-controlled room and using a humidifier if the air is very dry to maintain optimal tension.
Q: Can I replace the cowhide head if it wears out over time?
A: Yes, the drum is designed with a traditional rope system that allows for head replacement. However, due to the specialized fit, we recommend contacting our support team for replacement heads specific to this model.
