Authentic Foshan Quality

Impressive size and presence
This is a large instrument, so make sure you have space! The sound is booming and authoritative. Only giving 4 stars because the carrying strap could be slightly more padded for long marches.

Great sound, needs breaking in
Excellent drum overall. The sound was a bit tight out of the box, but after a week of practice sessions, the hide loosened up perfectly to that traditional war drum tone. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and Loud
Used this for an outdoor festival parade. It held up well against the humidity and the volume was exactly what we needed to lead the procession. The rope tuning system is easy to adjust.

Beautiful craftsmanship

Perfect for our Lion Dance Troupe
We purchased this for our community lion dance group and the sound quality is incredible. The bass is deep enough to be heard over the cymbals, and the cowhide feels very durable. Shipping from Foshan was faster than expected.
