Exceeded Expectations

As a percussion instructor, I am picky about drums. This Foshan drum offers professional quality at a reasonable price. The tension system allows for easy tuning to get the exact pitch we need.

Solid build quality

Very heavy duty. The wood frame feels like it will last for decades. Only giving 4 stars because the included sticks were a bit light for my preference, but the drum itself is perfect.

Great drum, needs breaking in

The craftsmanship is excellent and it looks beautiful. The skin was a bit tight out of the box, but after a few practice sessions, the tone warmed up nicely. Highly recommend for serious performers.

A: We offer a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the wooden frame and hardware. Normal wear and tear on the hide from regular playing is not covered.

Q: Can this be mounted on a stand instead of using the shoulder strap?

A: Yes, the frame design allows it to be placed on a standard universal drum stand, though it is primarily optimized for carrying with the included shoulder harness.

Q: Does this drum come pre-tuned or do I need to adjust it myself?

A: The drum arrives with standard factory tension suitable for most uses. However, due to temperature and humidity changes, you may need to slightly adjust the rope tension to achieve your preferred pitch. Instructions are included.

Q: Is the cowhide real or synthetic?

A: This model features a genuine top-layer cowhide head, which provides the authentic, warm tone required for traditional Lion and Dragon dances.
