Best bang for your buck
I have played violas three times this price that did not sound as good. The response is quick, and the intonation is spot on up the fingerboard. A truly impressive instrument.

Beautiful instrument, slight setup delay
The viola itself is gorgeous and sounds fantastic. Shipping took a day longer than expected due to careful packaging, but it arrived safely. The bow included is decent for a starter kit.

Perfect upgrade from student model
This instrument has so much more depth and resonance than my previous factory-made viola. The C-string sings beautifully. Highly recommend for advancing students or semi-professionals.

Great value for a handmade instrument
I was skeptical about buying a viola online, but the setup was excellent. The ebony fittings feel solid and smooth. It needed a minor bridge adjustment after shipping, but otherwise ready to play immediately.

Stunning visual and rich tone
The tiger striping on this viola is absolutely breathtaking in person. The antique finish gives it a mature look that belies its affordable price. The sound is warm and projects well in my chamber group.

Excellent craftsmanship
You can tell this was made by hand. The purfling is clean, and the varnish feels authentic. The case included is surprisingly sturdy too. Very happy with this purchase.

A: Yes, every handmade viola includes a signed certificate from the luthier detailing the woods used and the year of construction.
Q: Can I request a different string brand before shipping?
A: Absolutely! We can swap the standard Preludes for Thomastik-Infeld or Pirastro strings for an additional fee. Just add a note at checkout or contact support.
Q: Is the bow made of carbon fiber or wood?
A: The included bow is made of seasoned Brazilwood with horsehair. It is balanced specifically for this model to ensure good playability out of the box.
Q: How long does the handmade production take?
A: Since these are kept in stock after being handmade, they ship within 1-2 business days. Custom orders for specific dimensions may take 4-6 weeks.
