Perfect gift for my son

Good starter viola
Solid construction and nice aesthetics. The strings are decent for stock strings, though I plan to upgrade them soon. Overall, a great step up from factory-made instruments.

Great value, needs professional setup
The wood quality is excellent for the price point. Just remember that the bridge comes uncut, so you will need to take it to a luthier for a proper setup. Once set up, it plays beautifully.

Beautiful tone for a student instrument
I bought this for my daughter who is transitioning from a rental. The tiger stripe pattern is stunning in person, and the sound is warm and resonant right out of the box. Highly recommend for advancing beginners.

Exceeded expectations

Lovely craftsmanship
The hand-rubbed varnish gives it a very authentic look. The projection is clear, making it easy to hear yourself while practicing. Very happy with this purchase.

A: The viola comes with strings installed, but the bridge is uncut to prevent damage during shipping. We strongly recommend taking it to a local luthier for a professional setup including bridge fitting and soundpost adjustment.
