Exceeded expectations for affordability
I bought this for my daughter who is advancing rapidly. The tone is mature and complex, not thin or nasal like some cheaper violas. The included case is also surprisingly durable and lightweight.

Beautiful aesthetics and playability
The flamed maple back is absolutely striking under stage lights. It took a few days to break in the strings, but now the response is quick and even across all four strings. Highly recommended.

Great value for a handmade instrument
For the price, this is an incredible deal. The setup was decent, though I did take it to my local luthier for a minor bridge adjustment. Once set up perfectly, it plays like an instrument twice the price.

Perfect upgrade from my student model
The projection on this viola is amazing. I play in a community orchestra, and my section leader commented on how rich the lower register sounds. The antique finish gives it a lovely vintage look too.

Solid instrument with minor setup needs
The wood quality is excellent and the varnish looks authentic. The soundpost needed slight repositioning upon arrival, which is common for shipped instruments. After that, it sings beautifully.
