Excellent projection and response
This instrument responds quickly to bow changes and has excellent projection without sounding harsh. The ebony fittings are smooth and the pegs hold their tune well. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Perfect upgrade from my student model
The difference in tonal quality compared to my old laminate viola is night and day. The lower strings have a deep, warm growl that I've been looking for. Highly recommend for advancing students or amateurs.

Stunning tone and beautiful craftsmanship
The tiger-stripe pattern on the back is absolutely gorgeous in person. More importantly, the sound is rich and projects well in our chamber group. The one-piece top really seems to contribute to the resonance.

Great value for a handcrafted instrument

Beautiful wood, needs break-in time
The visual appeal of the flamed maple is unmatched. Sound-wise, it felt a bit tight initially but has opened up significantly after two weeks of daily playing. The included bow is decent, though I eventually swapped it for my carbon fiber one.
