Good value for constant voltage systems
Easy to wire into our existing 70V system. The volume is sufficient for a medium-sized garden. I took off one star because the mounting bracket could be slightly more robust, but overall it works great for background music.

Clear audio for public broadcasting

Exceeded expectations
Bought this to replace an old speaker that failed after a winter storm. This JGW model has been running flawlessly through snow and freezing temperatures. The constant voltage feature makes wiring long distances very easy.

Solid build quality
The aluminum casing feels very premium and sturdy. Sound distribution is wide, covering a large area with just one unit. It would be nice if it came in different colors, but the grey finish blends well enough.

Perfect for our patio area
We installed two of these speakers around our restaurant's outdoor seating area. The sound quality is clear even with background noise, and they have survived several heavy rainstorms without any issues. Highly recommended for commercial outdoor use.

Durable and weather-resistant
Installed these at a school sports field six months ago. They have been exposed to sun, rain, and dust, and still perform like new. The 20W output is plenty loud for announcements and music during events.

A: The package includes the metal mounting bracket and standard screws for drywall or wood. For brick or concrete walls, we recommend using appropriate masonry anchors which are sold separately due to varying wall compositions.
Q: What is the exact IP rating for water resistance?
A: The JGW Model D has an IP65 rating, meaning it is completely protected against dust and can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for full outdoor exposure.
Q: Is there a way to adjust the volume locally on the speaker?
A: No, this model does not have a local volume knob. Volume control should be managed centrally through your public address amplifier or mixer to ensure consistent audio levels across all zones.
Q: How many of these can I connect to a single 200W amplifier?
A: Since each unit is rated at 20W, you can theoretically connect up to 10 speakers to a 200W amplifier. However, we recommend leaving a 20% headroom for safety, so connecting 8 units would be the ideal configuration.
Q: Can this speaker be connected directly to a standard home amplifier?
A: This speaker is designed for 70V/100V constant voltage systems typically found in commercial installations. To use it with a standard low-impedance home amplifier, you would need an external matching transformer, which is not included.
