Decent but lid is stiff
The box itself is great, but the lid was very hard to screw on initially. I had to use some silicone spray on the threads. Once loosened up, it works fine. Good value for the price.

Great protection for valves
Keeps the mud and debris out of my valve manifold. The construction is solid, and I don't worry about my lawnmower damaging it since the lid is traffic rated. Highly recommend for residential use.

Perfect fit for my irrigation zone
This valve box was exactly what I needed for my backyard sprinkler system. The 6-inch size accommodates my solenoid valve perfectly with enough room for wiring. The plastic is thick and feels durable.

Standard industry size
As a professional installer, I appreciate that this follows standard sizing. It fits all major brand valves without modification. The lid key slot is standard size so my universal key works immediately.

Good quality, easy install
Installed three of these yesterday. They stack well if you need extra height, though I only used the base unit. The lid screws on tightly to keep dirt out. Only wish it came in a taller pre-assembled option.

Survived the winter freeze
We had a harsh winter last year, and these boxes held up great. No cracking from the frost heave. The green color blends nicely with the grass too, making them less obtrusive.
Q: Does the lid come with a key?
A: The lid features a standard universal key slot, but the key itself is usually sold separately or included with your valve tool kit. Any standard valve box key will fit.
Q: What is the internal diameter at the bottom?
A: The internal diameter is consistent throughout the main body, measuring approximately 6 inches, providing ample space for standard solenoid valves and connections.
Q: Is this suitable for heavy vehicle traffic like a driveway?
A: While the lid is H-20 rated, we recommend installing it under a lawn or light foot traffic area for optimal longevity. For heavy driveways, ensure it is set in concrete properly.
Q: Can this box be extended if my valve is buried deeper?
A: Yes, this model is designed to be stackable. You can purchase additional extension rings to increase the height as needed for deeper installations.
Q: Can I cut holes in the side for pipe entry?
A: Yes, the ABS plastic material can be easily cut with a standard hole saw or utility knife to allow pipes to enter from the sides or bottom as required by your layout.
