Good quality, slightly tight fit
The build quality is excellent and it seems like it will last for years underground. The lid was a bit tight to snap on initially, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Durable and easy to install
Installed these across my entire backyard system. They handle the weight of the lawnmower driving over them without any cracks or issues.

Standard size works great
Exactly what I needed for a quick water take-off. The 15-inch height gives plenty of room to work on the valves without digging deeper.

Decent but lid could be better
The box itself is solid, but I wish the lid had a more robust locking mechanism for high-traffic areas. It works fine for residential use though.

Great value for money
Compared to other brands, this offers the best balance of price and durability. The UV resistance is a nice bonus for boxes that aren't fully covered by mulch.

Perfect for my irrigation project
This valve box fits perfectly over my solenoid valves. The plastic is thick and durable, and the lid snaps on securely without being too hard to remove for maintenance.
Q: Is the lid secured with screws or just snapped on?
A: The lid features a snap-on design for easy access, but it also includes pre-molded holes if you wish to secure it with screws separately.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this plastic can handle?
A: The HDPE material is rated for continuous use in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F.
Q: How do I clean the box if dirt gets inside?
A: The smooth interior walls allow for easy rinsing with a hose. You can simply remove the lid and spray out any accumulated debris.
Q: Can this box withstand heavy vehicle traffic?
A: Yes, the VB1320 is H-20 traffic rated, meaning it can support standard vehicular loads when installed correctly with proper backfill.
Q: Does this come with the valve inside?
A: No, this product is the enclosure box only. Valves and piping components must be purchased separately.
