Great value for imported gear
You can tell the difference in quality compared to generic brands. The walls are thicker and the locking mechanism for the lid is robust. Worth the extra cost for peace of mind.

Standard size, easy install
Exactly what I needed to replace an old cracked box. The round shape makes it easy to rotate for access regardless of how the pipes are oriented. Installation took less than 20 minutes.

Good quality but lid fits tight
The box itself is excellent quality and seems like it will last for years. The only minor issue is that the lid was a bit difficult to snap on initially, but once seated, it is very secure against dirt and grass clippings.

Good box, shipping was slow
The product itself is fine and matches the description perfectly. It is a solid valve box. I am giving 3 stars only because the shipping took longer than expected, not due to the product quality.

Durable and weather resistant
We have had these installed for two seasons now through heavy rain and summer heat. There is no fading or cracking. The green color blends in perfectly with the lawn when the lid is closed.

Perfect fit for my sprinkler system
This is a genuine Rain Bird product imported from the USA. The plastic feels very sturdy and the 6-inch diameter gives me plenty of room to work on the valves inside. Highly recommended for any DIY irrigation project.
Q: Is this made from recycled plastic?
A: This specific USA imported model is manufactured from high-impact virgin ABS plastic to ensure maximum durability and longevity in underground conditions.
Q: Does this box come with a lid included?
A: Yes, the PVB6RND model comes complete with a matching green round lid designed to lock securely into the base.
Q: What is the actual depth of the box?
A: While the diameter is 6 inches, the standard height for this round model is typically around 12 inches, providing ample vertical space for most standard irrigation valves.
Q: Do I need special glue to install this?
A: No adhesive is required for the box assembly as the lid snaps on. However, you may need PVC primer and cement if you are attaching the box directly to PVC piping risers.
Q: Can this withstand being driven over by a car?
A: No, this valve box is rated for light traffic such as pedestrians and lawnmowers. It is not designed to support the weight of vehicles.
