Good but color fades
Functionally, the box works great and protects the valve well. However, after one summer of direct sun exposure, the green color has faded significantly. Still usable, just not as pretty.

Perfect for my sprinkler system upgrade

Best value for the price
I bought four of these for my front yard irrigation. They fit perfectly over my solenoid valves and provide excellent protection from lawn mowers and foot traffic.

Great quality, slightly tight fit
The material feels very durable and should last for years. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the lid was a bit tight to open the first few times, but it loosened up after use.

Sturdy and reliable
We had a heavy frost last winter and these boxes held up perfectly without cracking. The seal keeps out most of the dirt and debris. Will buy again for the backyard.

A: Yes, the interior dimensions are spacious enough to accommodate both 3/4 inch and 1-inch standard irrigation valves comfortably.
Q: Does this box come with the solenoid valve included?
A: No, this product is solely the protective enclosure. The solenoid valve and piping must be purchased separately.
Q: Can this withstand being driven over by a car?
A: While made of high-impact plastic, this box is designed for pedestrian and lawn mower traffic. We do not recommend placing it in areas subject to vehicle tires.
Q: What is the maximum depth this can be buried?
A: The box is designed to sit with the lid flush to the ground surface. The body can be buried according to your local frost line requirements, typically up to 12 inches deep.
Q: Is there a key required to open the lid?
A: No key is needed. The lid features a manual quick-twist mechanism that can be opened by hand, though a flathead screwdriver can assist if it is stuck due to mud.
