Durable and weather resistant
We had a harsh winter with heavy snow and freeze-thaw cycles. These boxes held up perfectly without cracking or warping. The foot pedal mechanism still works smoothly.

Exactly what I needed for my sprinkler system
Replaced an old cracked box with this one. The 6-inch height is ideal for my setup. The lid snaps shut securely so it doesn't pop open when I mow over it. Highly recommend.

Solid build, easy install
Great quality valve box. Installation was straightforward in standard soil. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the green color fades slightly after a full summer of direct sun, but functionality remains perfect.

A: No, the VB708 is sold as the enclosure box only. You will need to purchase the appropriate water take-off valve separately based on your specific irrigation requirements.
Q: Is the lid removable completely or just hinged?
A: The lid features a snap-fit design that allows it to be fully removed for complete access to the valve, though it is primarily designed to be operated via the foot pedal for opening and closing.
Q: Can this be used in freezing climates?
A: Yes, the High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material is formulated to remain flexible and crack-resistant in temperatures as low as -20°F, making it suitable for freezing climates.
Q: Can this valve box withstand being driven over by a car?
A: The VB708 is rated for light traffic and pedestrian use. While it is durable, we do not recommend placing it in areas subject to heavy vehicle traffic or constant driving loads.
