Works well but fan is slightly noisy
The printing performance is great, but the cooling fan included in the assembly is a bit louder than my original one. I might swap it out later, but for now, it works fine.

Robust build quality
The machining on the heat break is precise, and the brass nozzle fits perfectly. No leaks detected after 20 hours of continuous printing. A reliable upgrade.

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE

Solved my under-extrusion issues

Good quality but instructions could be better
The part itself feels solid and heats up evenly. However, the included manual was a bit vague on wire routing. If you have experience with 3D printers, this is a non-issue.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can handle?
A: The standard brass nozzle and heater cartridge are rated for temperatures up to 260°C, which is suitable for PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU filaments.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes one high-temperature silicone sock to help maintain consistent nozzle temperature and protect the heater block.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-6 or only the SE version?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model due to differences in mounting brackets and wiring length. It is not directly compatible with the non-SE CR-6 without modifications.
Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed?
A: Yes, the NTC 100K thermistor comes pre-installed and secured with high-temperature paste, so you do not need to install it separately.
Q: Do I need to level the bed again after installing this?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend assembly, it is highly recommended to re-level your build plate and adjust the Z-offset to ensure perfect first-layer adhesion.
