Perfect for our school play!
We bought this for our children's June 1st performance and it was a hit. The dragon design looks stunning on stage and the sound is loud enough to be heard over the music without being piercing.

Great quality, slightly heavy for small kids
The craftsmanship is excellent, especially the cowhide head which produces a rich tone. However, it might be a bit heavy for children under 6 to carry for long periods. Perfect for ages 8+.

For the price, this is a solid drum. The sound is impressive for a flat drum. One star off because the drumsticks included are a bit light, but we easily swapped them out.
