Great for the classroom
Bought three of these for our homeschool setup. They are durable enough to handle daily use by multiple kids. The different sharpness settings help with both writing and shading.

No batteries needed!
I love that this is manual. No need to worry about batteries dying in the middle of homework time. It sharpens quickly and the shavings container is easy to empty.

Sturdy and reliable
Great build quality. It stays put on the desk thanks to the non-slip base. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the crank can be a little stiff for very young children at first.

A: The blade is high-quality steel and built to last a long time. Currently, the manufacturer does not sell replacement blades separately, but the unit is very durable.
Q: Can this sharpener handle large diameter colored pencils?
A: Yes, the opening is designed to accommodate standard sized pencils as well as most large diameter colored pencils used for art.
Q: Does it come with a warranty?
A: Yes, this product comes with a standard 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
