Solid performer

Does exactly what it says on the tin. The temperature response is quick when the HVAC kicks in. Wiring terminals are spacious enough for standard gauge wire.

Good value, clear display

The LCD screen is bright and easy to read from a distance. Setup took about 10 minutes. I deducted one star because the manual could be more detailed regarding address configuration, but overall a solid industrial sensor.

A: The unit is designed to fit standard 86mm electrical backboxes directly. Screws for mounting are included in the package, but a separate backbox may need to be purchased depending on your wall type.

Q: Is the 86 shell suitable for outdoor installation?

A: The ABS 86 shell provides good protection for indoor industrial use. For direct outdoor exposure to rain or extreme UV, we recommend installing it inside a weatherproof enclosure.

A: Yes, the RS485 interface supports cable runs up to 1200 meters depending on the baud rate and cable quality. We recommend using shielded twisted pair cable for industrial environments.
