Great value, easy setup

Setup was straightforward using the provided documentation. The waterproof housing holds up well in our greenhouse environment. Only minor issue was the cable could be slightly longer.

Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if the reading seems off?

A: The sensor comes factory calibrated. However, offset adjustments can be made using the configuration tool software included in the download section of our website.

Q: Does this module support multiple devices on the same RS485 bus?

A: Yes, you can connect multiple modules on the same bus by assigning unique slave IDs to each device via the configuration software.

Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for stable communication?

A: For reliable RS485 communication, we recommend a maximum cable length of 1200 meters, provided you use twisted pair shielded cable and proper termination resistors.

Q: Is there a mobile app available for direct viewing?

A: This is a hardware transmitter that outputs data via Modbus. You will need a gateway or a PLC connected to a SCADA system or custom software to view the data on a mobile device.

Q: Can this be powered by a 5V USB adapter?

A: No, this module requires a power supply between 12V DC and 24V DC. A 5V source will not be sufficient to operate the transmitter.
