My go-to for sketching
The hexagonal shape prevents them from rolling off my desk, which is a small but huge plus. The ink flow is steady from start to finish.

Great value for artists
I've tried many brands, but these Zebra liners offer the best balance of price and performance. The 0.05mm tip is incredibly fine without being fragile.

Perfect for Manga Inking
These pens are absolutely fantastic for inking manga panels. The line variation is consistent, and the ink dries instantly so I never have to worry about smudging when I add shading later.

Smooth writing experience
Very smooth glide on paper. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the cap can be a little tight to remove quickly, but it ensures the ink doesn't dry out.

Solid technical pens
Good precision for architectural sketches. They feel durable in hand. I wish the set included a 0.7mm option, but otherwise excellent.

Truly waterproof
I tested these with watercolors over the top, and the lines did not bleed or fade at all. Essential for any mixed media artist.
Q: Is the black ink archival quality?
A: Yes, the pigment-based black ink is acid-free and archival quality, making it suitable for artwork intended for long-term preservation.
Q: What is the difference between this set and the individual pens?
A: This set includes a curated selection of the most popular line widths (0.05mm to 0.5mm) at a discounted bundle price compared to buying each size individually.
Q: Can I refill these pens once the ink runs out?
A: No, the Zebra Fine Liner pens are designed as disposable units and cannot be refilled. Once the ink is depleted, the entire pen should be recycled if possible.
Q: Do the tips bend easily if pressed too hard?
A: The stainless steel tips are quite durable, but like all fine liners, pressing too hard can damage the tip. We recommend using a light hand for the best results and longevity.
Q: Are these pens safe to use on standard printer paper?
A: Yes, these pens work well on standard printer paper, though they perform best on slightly thicker sketchbook paper to prevent any potential bleed-through with the wider tips.
