Truly waterproof
I tested these with alcohol markers and watercolors, and the ink did not bleed or smear at all. The brown color is a warm, rich tone that looks great on cream paper.

Great value for architecture students
I bought the brown set for my architectural sketches. The lines are crisp and precise. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the cap can be a bit tight to remove initially, but it ensures the pen doesn't dry out.

Perfect for my manga projects
These pens are incredibly smooth and the ink flow is consistent. I use the 0.1mm and 0.3mm sizes mostly for inking my comic pages, and they haven't skipped once. The waterproof feature is a lifesaver when I add watercolor backgrounds.

Excellent for technical diagrams

Solid everyday drawing pens
Very reliable for daily sketching. The grip is comfortable even during long drawing sessions. I wish they offered a bulk refill pack, but otherwise, these are excellent.

Best fine liners I've owned
I have tried many brands, but Senalier offers the best balance of price and quality. The 0.05mm tip is fantastic for intricate details in anime eyes and hair. Highly recommended for serious artists.
Q: How do I clean the tip if it gets clogged?
A: If the tip feels scratchy or stops flowing, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water. Avoid using solvents as they may damage the plastic housing.
Q: Are these pens safe to use on standard printer paper without bleeding through?
A: Yes, the ink is formulated to be low-bleed. However, for very thin paper (below 70gsm), we recommend placing a scrap sheet underneath just to be safe.
Q: What is the difference between the black and brown sets?
A: The only difference is the ink color. The pen construction, tip sizes, and performance characteristics are identical across both color options.
Q: Do you sell individual refills for these pens?
A: Currently, Senalier Technical Drawing Pens are designed as disposable units to ensure optimal hygiene and ink flow. We do not offer separate refills at this time.
Q: Can I use alcohol markers over the ink without smudging?
A: Absolutely! Once the ink is fully dry (usually within a few seconds), it is waterproof and alcohol-proof, making it perfect for mixed media work.
