Great value, durable tips
I've dropped this pen several times and the tip hasn't bent at all. The only reason for 4 stars is that the finest size (0.05) can sometimes feel a bit scratchy on rough paper.

Love the variety of sizes
Buying the set was the best decision. Having every size from 0.05 to 0.8 allows me to do detailed hatching and bold outlines with the same brand reliability.

Consistent line quality
I use these for architectural sketches. The line width remains consistent from start to finish, and the pigment ink looks incredibly sharp on paper.

Perfect for manga inking!
These pens are a staple in my art kit. The ink flows smoothly without bleeding, and the waterproof feature is a lifesaver when I add watercolor washes over my sketches.

Industry standard for a reason
If you are serious about comic art, you need these. They don't clog easily, and the black is deep and opaque. Highly recommended for professionals and hobbyists alike.

Students love them
I bought a bulk pack for my illustration class. The students find them easy to control, and they hold up well under heavy use. Wish the caps were slightly tighter to prevent drying out if left open.
Q: Are these pens safe to use on fabric?
A: While the ink is permanent and waterproof, these pens are specifically designed for paper surfaces. We recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area of fabric first, as results may vary depending on the material texture.
Q: Can I use these with alcohol markers?
A: Yes, the pigment ink is generally alcohol-resistant once fully dry. We suggest waiting a few seconds after inking before going over it with alcohol-based markers to prevent smudging.
Q: Does the 0.05mm tip break easily?
A: The tips are made from durable polypropylene and are resistant to bending under normal drawing pressure. However, avoid pressing too hard or dropping the pen tip-first to ensure longevity.
Q: What is the shelf life of the ink?
A: If stored properly with the cap tightly sealed, the pens can last for several years. If the ink flow slows down, try shaking the pen gently or drawing on scrap paper to restart the flow.
Q: Are these pens refillable?
A: No, the Sakura Pigma Micron pens are disposable and not designed to be refilled. Once the ink is depleted, the entire pen should be recycled according to local regulations.
