Perfect for my bullet journal!
These pens are absolutely gorgeous. The retro colors are muted and perfect for aesthetic spreads without being too neon. The ink flows smoothly and dries instantly, so no smudging when I use my highlighter over it.

Smooth operator

Great value, one cap was loose
The writing experience is fantastic for the price. Very smooth liquid ink feel. However, one of the caps in my set was slightly loose, but it hasn't affected the pen's performance yet. Colors are vibrant yet soft.

Xiaohongshu hype is real
I bought these after seeing them recommended on social media and I'm not disappointed. The self-controlled ink system means no blobs or leaks. The translucent barrels make it easy to see how much ink is left.

Best gel pens for art
I use these for coloring in adult coloring books and they layer beautifully. The quick-drying feature is accurate; I can touch the line immediately without worry. Highly recommend for artists.

Love the color palette
The specific 'retro' color mix is hard to find elsewhere. It includes some lovely sage greens and dusty pinks. Only giving 4 stars because the lighter colors sometimes require a second pass on cheap paper.

A: No, the Dian Shi DS-904 pens are designed as disposable units. Once the ink is depleted, the entire pen should be recycled according to local guidelines.
Q: Is the ink waterproof?
A: The ink is water-resistant once fully dried, meaning it will not smear easily if lightly exposed to moisture. However, it is not fully waterproof and may run if submerged or heavily saturated with water.
Q: Do these work well on dark paper?
A: These are standard gel ink pens and are not opaque or metallic. They perform best on white or light-colored paper. For dark paper, we recommend our specific metallic gel pen series.

A: The standard Retro Color set includes 12 unique pastel and retro shades. We also occasionally offer a larger 24-color expansion pack.
