Great value for art restoration
Considering this is hand-done artistic restoration, the price is very fair. The only reason for 4 stars is that communication during the process could be faster.

Saved my heirloom
This service saved a family heirloom teapot that had a large crack across the body. The Kintsugi style turns the damage into a feature. Highly recommended.

Masterful craftsmanship
The attention to detail on the spout repair is incredible. They matched the clay texture perfectly before applying the gold. It holds water without any leaks.

Beautiful but took time
The result is gorgeous and very sturdy. It took about three weeks to complete, which was slightly longer than expected, but the quality makes up for the wait.

Seamless handle fix
My teapot handle snapped clean off. The repair is so strong I feel confident using it daily. The gold line is elegant and not too flashy.

Better than new!
I thought my favorite Yixing teapot was ruined when the lid cracked. The gold lacquer repair looks absolutely stunning and adds so much character. You can barely feel the seam.
Q: Is the repaired teapot safe to use with boiling water?
A: Yes, once the lacquer has fully cured, the teapot is heat resistant and safe for brewing tea with boiling water.
Q: Is the lacquer food safe?
A: Absolutely. We use traditional, non-toxic Urushi lacquer that is fully food safe once cured.
Q: Do you offer repairs for completely broken pieces?
A: Yes, we can reassemble and fill missing sections if you have all the fragments. Please contact us with photos for an assessment.
Q: Can you match the original clay color exactly?
A: We strive to match the original clay tone as closely as possible using natural Zisha dust, though slight variations may occur due to the aging of the original piece.
Q: How long does the gold lacquer last?
A: With proper care, the gold lacquer repair is permanent and will last for many years without fading or peeling.
