Perfect gift for tea lovers
Bought this for my father who is a tea enthusiast. He was thrilled with the quality and the elegant packaging. The celadon color is soothing and looks beautiful on his display shelf.

Beautiful but requires careful handling
The aesthetics are top-notch, truly museum quality. However, the clay is delicate, so you must be very gentle when washing. The large cups are a nice change from the tiny traditional ones.

Exquisite craftsmanship for daily brewing
This set is absolutely stunning. The crackle pattern on the Ge Kiln pieces is unique to each item, and the teapot pours smoothly without dripping. It has elevated my evening tea ritual significantly.

Superior to mass-produced sets
You can tell this is handmade. The weight feels substantial in the hand, and the spout design prevents any mess. Highly recommend for anyone serious about Gongfu tea.

Lovely set with minor variation
The set is gorgeous and functions well. Since it is handmade, there are slight variations in the cup sizes, which adds character but might bother perfectionists. Overall very satisfied.

Authentic feel and great heat retention
I love how well this set retains heat. The Gaiwan is easy to handle even with hot water. The Ru Kiln style glaze gives it a very premium, ancient look that I adore.
Q: What is the difference between the Ge Kiln and Ru Kiln styles in this set?
A: The Ge Kiln pieces feature a prominent 'gold thread' crackle pattern, while the Ru Kiln style items have a smoother, sky-blue celadon finish with subtle craquelure, offering a diverse aesthetic experience.
Q: How should I season the teapot before first use?
A: Simply rinse the teapot and cups with warm water. Then, brew a pot of the tea you intend to drink most often and discard the liquid. This opens the pores of the clay and prepares it for regular use.
Q: Does the set come with a tea tray?
A: No, this specific suite includes the Gaiwan, teapot, fairness pitcher, and six large cups. A tea tray is sold separately to allow you to choose one that matches your space preferences.
Q: Is this set suitable for brewing Pu-erh tea?
A: Yes, the Zisha clay and ceramic materials are excellent for brewing Pu-erh, Oolong, and Black teas as they retain heat well and do not alter the flavor profile.
Q: Can I put these items in the dishwasher?
A: We strongly recommend hand washing only. The high temperatures and harsh detergents in dishwashers can damage the delicate crackle glaze and the porous nature of the Zisha clay.
