Exceptional craftsmanship and beautiful engraving

Beautiful but requires careful handling

Authentic Yixing quality
As a collector, I can confirm this is genuine Zisha clay. The texture is rough yet refined, typical of factory pure home styles. Highly recommended for serious tea enthusiasts.
Q: Is this teapot suitable for green tea?
A: While you can brew green tea in it, Zisha clay is best suited for darker teas like Pu-erh or Oolong. For green tea, we recommend using a separate pot to avoid flavor mixing.
Q: Is the engraving painted or carved?
A: The koi design is hand-carved directly into the clay body before firing, not painted on. This ensures the design will never fade or wear off.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the pot?
A: Never use soap or detergent. Simply rinse with hot water and wipe gently with a soft cloth. Allow it to air dry completely before storing.
Q: Does the cow lid knob get hot to the touch?
A: The clay handles heat well, but the knob may become warm during brewing. We recommend using a tea towel or holding the lid by the edge if pouring immediately after boiling.
