Beautiful craftsmanship and keeps tea hot
This teapot is absolutely stunning. The purple clay has a wonderful texture, and the single hand-grip design feels very secure. It brews my oolong perfectly without getting too hot to hold.

Great value for authentic Zisha
I was skeptical about the price, but the quality is genuine. The capacity is larger than expected, which is great for sharing. Just remember to season it before first use.

Perfect addition to my tea collection
The color is rich and deep. I love how the non-scalding feature works; I can pour immediately after steeping. Highly recommend for any tea lover.

Best teapot I've owned
The artisan work is evident in every detail. The handle fits comfortably in the hand, and the lid seals tightly. A must-have for serious tea drinkers.

Excellent heat retention
Brewed a pot of Pu-erh and it stayed warm for over an hour. The spout pours smoothly without dripping. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Lovely pot, slightly heavy
The teapot is beautiful and functions well. It is a bit heavier than my other ceramic pots due to the thick clay, but that helps with heat retention.
Q: What is the exact capacity in ounces?
A: The teapot holds approximately 600ml, which converts to roughly 20 fluid ounces.
Q: Can I use this for green tea as well?
A: While suitable for all teas, Zisha pots are traditionally best for darker teas like Oolong, Black, and Pu-erh. Green tea can be brewed in it, but lower temperatures are recommended.
Q: Is this teapot safe to use on a direct flame or electric stove?
A: No, this Zisha teapot is designed for brewing with hot water only. Please do not place it directly on a stove or open flame as it may crack.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the pot?
A: For Zisha clay, simply rinse with hot water after each use. Avoid using soap or detergent as the porous clay will absorb the scent and affect future brews.
Q: Does the lid fit tightly enough to prevent spills?
A: Yes, the lid is hand-fitted to ensure a snug seal. However, please hold the lid gently with your finger when pouring for extra security.
