Perfect size for Gongfu tea
At 50ml, this is the ideal size for a master cup. The rim is incredibly smooth, and the heat distribution allows me to hold it comfortably even with hot tea inside.

A true collector's item
I bought this as a gift for my father who is a tea enthusiast. He was impressed by the clarity and the subtle texture of the Nanshan Xiansheng design. Highly recommended.

Great quality, small capacity
The quality is undeniable, but new users should note that 50ml is quite small. It is designed for sipping and appreciating flavor, not for quenching thirst quickly.

Exquisite craftsmanship
The translucency of this cup is breathtaking. When held up to the light, the porcelain glows like real jade. It has significantly enhanced my oolong tasting experience.

Beautiful but delicate
The aesthetic is unmatched, truly a high-end piece. However, because the walls are so thin to achieve the 'ice-kind' effect, one must be very careful when washing it.
Q: Does the cup come with a lid?
A: No, this is a traditional open-top Master Cup (Pin Ming Bei) designed for smelling the aroma and viewing the liquor color. It does not include a lid.
Q: How do I clean the inside if tea stains build up?
A: For tea stains, we suggest soaking the cup in warm water with a little baking soda. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or steel wool, as they can scratch the delicate glaze.
Q: Is the pattern painted or part of the glaze?
A: The 'Ice-Kind' effect is achieved through the specific firing technique and the thickness of the porcelain body, not by painting. The texture is natural to the material.
Q: Can I use this for green tea as well as Pu-erh?
A: Absolutely. This cup is versatile and suitable for all types of loose-leaf tea. Its thin walls are particularly good for green tea as they do not retain excessive heat that might cook the leaves.
Q: Is this cup microwave safe?
A: While the porcelain itself can withstand heat, we do not recommend microwaving this cup as rapid heating can cause thermal shock to the thin 'ice-kind' walls, potentially leading to cracks.
