Authentic Ru kiln aesthetic
As a collector of tea ware, I appreciate the authentic look of the crackle glaze. It develops a nice patina over time. The lotus petals are sculpted with great detail.

Exceeded expectations
The craftsmanship is excellent. The basin is deep enough to prevent splashing when rinsing hot cups. The sky-blue color matches my other Ru-style teaware perfectly.

Stunning centerpiece for my tea table
The sky-blue glaze is even more beautiful in person. The crackle pattern adds a wonderful vintage touch, and the lotus shape is elegant. It holds plenty of water for rinsing cups during a full Gongfu session.

Beautiful but requires careful handling
Absolutely gorgeous piece that elevates my tea ceremony. The only reason for 4 stars is that the glaze is quite smooth, so be careful when wet as it can be slippery. Otherwise, highly recommended.

A: The internal diameter is approximately 16cm, with a usable depth of about 5cm, providing ample space for standard Kung Fu tea cups.
Q: Does the crackle pattern vary between pieces?
A: Yes, since each piece is handcrafted and the crackle effect occurs naturally during cooling, no two items are exactly alike. This makes your tea washer unique.
Q: Is the base glazed or unglazed?
A: The exterior and interior are fully glazed, but the very bottom ring is unglazed to prevent sticking during firing and ensure stability on your tea tray.
Q: Is this dishwasher safe?
A: While the porcelain is durable, we recommend hand washing to preserve the delicate crackle glaze and prevent potential thermal shock from high dishwasher temperatures.
Q: Can this hold boiling water directly?
A: The ceramic can withstand hot water used for rinsing tea cups. However, we advise against pouring boiling water directly into a cold basin to avoid thermal shock; pre-warming it slightly is best.
