Lightweight yet powerful

Great value, minor tuning needed

For the price, this is an excellent drum. The solid wood construction feels sturdy. It arrived slightly out of tune, but the rope system made it easy to adjust to my preference.

Exceeded expectations

Solid build quality

The lacquer job on the red wood is smooth and professional. No rough edges. The only reason for 4 stars is that the carrying strap was a bit thin, but the drum itself is fantastic.

Perfect projection for our ensemble

Authentic sound and look

The 8-inch drum has a surprisingly loud crack. The cowhide head responds well to both sticks and hands. Looks exactly like the traditional drums used in festivals.
