Eliminated all handling noise
The isolation on this mount is impressive. I can type on my keyboard nearby without it picking up the vibrations. Installation was straightforward, and the included thread adapter was a nice bonus.

Best upgrade for the money
If you are using a heavy condenser mic without a proper shock mount, buy this immediately. It completely changed the clarity of my vocal tracks by removing structure-borne noise. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid choice for large diaphragm mics
Works great with my U87 clone. The grip is tight enough to feel safe but gentle enough not to damage the mic body. Deducting one star only because the instructions were a bit vague, but it's intuitive enough to figure out.

Perfect fit for my U87
This shock mount fits my Neumann U87 like a glove. The build quality is solid, and it effectively isolates the mic from desk bumps and floor vibrations. Highly recommended for home studios.

Sturdy and reliable
I've used expensive OEM mounts before, and this universal version performs just as well for a fraction of the cost. The plastic feels durable, not cheap. It's been holding my U103 for six months without any sagging.

Great value, minor assembly tweak needed
Overall a fantastic product for the price. I had to adjust the elastic bands slightly to get the microphone perfectly centered, but once set, it holds very securely. No more low-end rumble in my recordings.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor recording?
A: While the shock mount handles vibration well, it does not provide wind protection. For outdoor use, we recommend pairing it with a dedicated windshield or blimp system.
Q: Will this fit the Neumann TLM 103?
A: Yes, this shock mount is designed to accommodate the Neumann TLM 103 as well as the U87, U102, and U103 models due to their similar body dimensions.
Q: Does it come with a 3/8" adapter?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 thread adapter, allowing you to mount it on most standard microphone stands.
Q: What is the maximum weight this mount can hold safely?
A: The mount is rated for microphones up to 1.5 lbs (680g). Most large diaphragm condenser microphones fall well within this limit.
Q: Can the elastic bands be replaced if they wear out?
A: The bands are integrated into the design for optimal tension. While they are made of durable materials meant to last years, we do not sell replacement bands separately at this time.
