Perfect for my home studio

Solid build, minor assembly quirks
Overall a great stand. The metal feels premium and heavy enough to prevent tipping. Assembly took about 15 minutes; just make sure to tighten the knobs firmly. One rubber foot was slightly loose but easy to fix.

Best upgrade for streaming
I switched from a desk clamp to this floor stand and it cleared up so much space on my desk. The cable management inside the boom is a nice touch that keeps things looking professional on camera.

Heavy duty and reliable
Used this for a live piano performance recording. It handled the vibration well and didn't pick up any floor noise. The height adjustment is very convenient for different seating positions.

Great stand, bulky when folded
Does exactly what it says. Very stable even at full extension. My only complaint is that it's a bit long when folded down, so it doesn't fit easily in small car trunks for transport.

A: Yes, the stand has a weight capacity of 4.4 lbs, which is sufficient for the SM7B (approx. 1.7 lbs) even when using a standard boom arm extension.
Q: What is the diameter of the tube for attaching clip-on lights?
A: The main vertical tube has a diameter of roughly 1.1 inches. Most standard clip-on LED lights designed for music stands should fit securely.
Q: Is the base wide enough to prevent tipping if the boom is fully extended?
A: The tripod base spreads to approximately 28 inches in diameter, providing excellent stability. However, we recommend keeping the heaviest accessories closer to the vertical pole for maximum safety.
Q: Does this stand come with a shock mount?
