Small but mighty
Don't let the small size fool you. The 19cm version has a surprising amount of presence. Excellent for adding texture to folk music arrangements.

Perfect for traditional percussion setups
These cymbals have an incredible trashy sound that cuts through the mix without being too loud. The 17cm size is my favorite for waist drum accompaniment. Very responsive.

Great effects cymbal
Love the quick decay on these. They are exactly what I needed for my hand percussion kit. The only reason for 4 stars is that the finish varies slightly from the photos, but the sound is top-notch.

Good value for pure copper
Hard to find pure copper cymbals at this price point. They respond well to light touches and can handle harder hits without choking. A solid addition to any percussionist's collection.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The hand-hammered marks are visible and add to the aesthetic. Sonically, they are bright and washy, perfect for the water cymbal effects I was looking for.
Q: What is the difference between the Beijing and Water cymbal styles in this series?
A: In this series, the terms are often used interchangeably to describe the small, upturned edge design that produces a quick, trashy splash with a fast decay, typical of traditional Beijing opera percussion.
Q: Is the pure copper prone to tarnishing quickly?
A: Like all untreated copper instruments, they may develop a natural patina over time which many players prefer for a warmer sound. You can clean them with standard cymbal polish if you wish to maintain the shiny finish.
Q: Can these be mounted on a standard drum kit stand?
A: Yes, they feature a standard 6.5mm mounting hole, so they fit perfectly on regular cymbal stands used for drum kits.
Q: Do these come with a protective bag?
A: Yes, each cymbal comes with a basic cloth protective sleeve to prevent scratches during storage and transport.
Q: Are these cymbals sold individually or as a set?
A: These cymbals are sold individually. You can select your preferred size (15cm, 17cm, or 19cm) from the dropdown menu when ordering.
